Healthpro Consultants gives agents access to other products in addition to traditional insurance products. These other or niche offerings may be a good door opening product or may fill a specific client need.
Health Plan Alternatives
Offer sole proprietors and group clients access to health insurance alternatives. These alternatives offer coverage similar to traditional health insurance plans, but are NOT insurance plans. These products offer coverage at rates much lower than traditional health insurance. They are self-funded and medically underwritten and often based on religion or faith.
MEC Plans
Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plans offer individuals primary, specialist, urgent care and emergency room visits. Rates for MEC plans are significantly lower than full medical plans. Plans use national provider networks and are ACA compliant.
Travel Insurance
We offer Travel Insurance for those going abroad: travelers, students studying abroad, senior travelers. Various budget options are available.
Home Care Plans
We offer plans that provide home care to clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. True Freedom is a program that allows clients to buy home heath care hours at a discounted price. There is no limit to the amount of hours that can be purchased. Other programs are insurance based and offer short term home care coverage for up to 24 months. The plans are for home care only but are a fraction of the cost of a traditional LTC plan.
Cancer and Hospital Indemnity Plans
Offer clients peace of mind with Cancer and/or Hospital Indemnity Plans. These plans pay the benefit directly to the clients. This helps to pay things such as: the costs of medical care not covered in their plan, lost wages as well as in home care, and more.
